How a Custom Kigu is Created

All of my kigus are stitched using a Singer sewing machine, a heavy-duty serger, and an embroidery machine for the hood. The only parts of my kigus that are hand-sewn are the buttons! 

The commissioner has a wide range of eye expressions to choose from for the embroidered hood, as well as a variety of colors and shapes to choose from for the custom details and add-ons. I will personally try my best to match a commissioner's kigu design as closely as possible to what is asked for the design.  I also provide WIP (work in progress) photos throughout the construction of each kigu to make sure the commissioner is happy with how everything is going during the creation of their kigu.

 Standard Simple Kigu

$700+

My standard, 1-3 color simple custom-designed kigu includes an embroidered hood (eyes), pockets, custom-colored stretchy arm and leg cuffs, as well as resin circle-shaped buttons.

Complex/Multicolor Design Kigu

Complex/Multicolor (more than 3 colors) kigu designs may range in price, so please fill out a quote form for an estimated cost.

                            Terms of Service- All commissioners must read my TOS before the first payment. After the first payment, you are stating that you are aware and agree to all of my terms and conditions shown below.

Quotes/Commission Slots

Quotes are not always open, however in my Instagram bio my quotes will always show if open or not. You will need a quote and set price to be accepted into the commission queue before payment. Quotes are valid for 3 months before becoming outdated, or if prices change you will also need a fresh quote. Quotes do not guarantee you a commission slot or need a down payment, they are solely for giving custom price ranges. Commissions will open depending on time availability and after other commissions have been finished up. Commission openings can also be found open or closed in my Instagram bio. My kigu quote form can be found on my Linktree which is on my homepage.

Payment/Payment Plans

An initial 50% deposit cost is required as a down payment for your commission to be added to my queue and for materials to be bought. Commission costs must be fully paid off fully within 1 month after starting your commission, your commission will be sent to you after full payment is given. Currently, I only take payment for custom items through Paypal invoices. General added fees of payment and tax along with shipping will not be included in an original base quote, if you would like the added fees (minus shipping due to not knowing the final weight of your commission) you may ask for an estimate of what the full cost may be. 

Shipping

Shipping costs are not included in quotes or the calculated payment until after your commission is completed. Insurance costs on your package will be added onto the shipping costs. I use select shipping methods of mainly UPS for shipping bigger items. International shipping can be expected to cost a higher than average shipping cost. I am not responsible for any damage or lost packages due to the shipping carrier.

Warranty and Repairs

With average wear down and tears after use of your kigu due to normal movement within the first 3 months of receiving your commission, I will offer free minor repairs to your item. Shipping to and from must be paid by the commissioner to have free repairs within this time period. However repairs may be declined at the time due to schedules and current works in progress, I also cannot guarantee repairs to be made in priority. Some things are not covered by the free warranty, repairs after the 3 month period, failure to store properly, being too aggressive, staining, intentionally damaging kigu, washing damage, and heat damage.

Design Changes

After materials are bought and work is started, I cannot guarantee all of the changes can be made. If design changes are made after quoted and or paid, the pricing may increase due to complexity and material costs. Please, before commissioning make sure you are happy with this character or design.

Cancellations

The initial 50% down-payment of any commission will not be eligible for a refund if your commission is less than $800. If you ask for a refund after work has already started, due to how much work has progressed, your refund amount will become less and less.

Sizing

My kigurumi sizing stays at a standard range that covers from small to large. if you would like an extra large or if you are taller than 5ft 10in, please list your needs on the kigu quote form.

Deadlines/Completion Dates

Completion dates are not guaranteed and may change based on many factors. However, I will try my best to give a rough estimate of the completion time of your suit once construction is started. Normally, it takes under 4 months. I currently do not guarantee completion dates for events or conventions due to an accidental rush of work, causing flaws in the product. 

Ages

I will work with minors aged 16+ with parental consent and agreement. Anyone under the age of 16 years or without parental consent would be considered to be violating the terms of service and will not be accepted. Anyone over the age of 18 will not need proof of consent from someone else. 

Conduct and Service

I have the right to refuse a commission or quote based on many factors, including skill level. If your character is too confusing for me to create or if the design is more complicated than what I am comfortable working with. I may not accept your commission based on these factors or personal preferences for character designs. Harassment of any kind is not tolerated and I will refuse a commission due to behavior if I feel it is needed. Updates will also be given on your commission either sent directly to you, or on my Instagram. 

Disclaimers and Extra Info

• I will not work on NSFW suits, please respect this and do not ask for any NSFW add-ons or placements. 
• If you have an allergy to cats or candle scents please tell me beforehand so I will keep my pets out of and or to not burn candles in the workspace during that time. 
• I will be showing all commission progress to the public unless stated otherwise by the client.
• If a client is not happy with my product due to skill level, you will not be entitled to an immediate refund, certain things may be partially refunded, however. My work is and has been stated as medium quality works and your suits may have small flaws due to human error, please take the time to understand I am not a machine and some flaws may occur.
